Weight Management

Too often, we are doing everything we can to keep our bodies healthy, but no matter what we do, the weight doesn't budge.  This could be genetics, hormonal, metabolism, your relationship with food, or all of the above.  At Summit, I want to empower you with a healthy diet plan and safe exercise program, but also the ability to use GLP-1 medication injections to help restructure and refocus on your body composition.

I have partnered with a 503A compounding pharmacy (Hallandale) which has strict FDA regulations and pharmacy board policies to bring you safe semaglutide (GLP-1) and tirzepatide (GLP-1/GIP). Dosing will be individualized to you and your tolerability and commitment to improve your body.

An initial comprehensive consultation is required:

     Duration: 60 minutes

     Cost: $160

Frequently Asked Questions

I want you to succeed in your weight loss journey. This is not an "EASY" button. During your weight loss consultations, we will determine together what would be the best path for you. I will take your measurements, perform a body composition analysis, and discuss a comprehensive diet plan, exercise plan, and medication.

Initial Mandatory Consultation: $160

Semaglutide Rx: starting at $200/month

Tirzepatide Rx: starting at $300/month

Q: What is the age requirement for a weight management plan?

A: You must be at least 18 years old.

Q: Do I need to have a consultation if I've been on medications before and just want to transfer to you?

A: YES.

Q: Do you accept insurance for weight loss medications?

A: No.  This is the main reason why I am offering a weight management program at Summit.  Insurers have made it incredibly difficult for qualified patients to get these medications.  I am hoping to help those individuals whose insurance does not cover the prescription.

Q: I'm scared of needles.  How will I do this injection?

A: I will have your prescription drawn up for you and will go through how to do this with minimal discomfort.

Q: If I am doing well on my prescription, do I have to see you every month?

A: No!  Initially, I like to help my patients with potential side effects and dosage increments.  Once things are stable, I would like to see my patients every 3-4 months.

Q: What if I am already getting this prescription from somewhere else and I'm doing ok on it?

A: GREAT!  Keep on doing what you're doing.

Q: What if I am unhappy with the program that I am on and want to transfer to you?

A: GREAT!  Set up your consult appointment and we'll go from there.

Q: I hear a lot about microdosing.  Do you offer that?

A: This is an individualized plan.  Whether your body needs small doses or therapeutic doses, we'll find what works for you.
